AP Government
BVH – AP Government
The AP Government course is a yearlong study of the philosophical and Constitutional foundations of United States government and a practical analysis of how the government works today.
While foundational principles are addressed, the emphasis on the course is in gaining a practical understanding of current government institutions, partisan politics, and public policy through the use of Common Core Standards. In addition, course will integrate the California Economics Standards to fulfill district course requirements.
The yearlong course is designed to prepare students who wish to take the AP Government Exam.
